Sales Executive

SINA.com U.S. office in San Mateo, California is seeking a Sales Executive or Contractor to mainly target the U.S. companies with interests in marketing their business to Chinese-American or to China through SINA. The major responsibilities include the new business lead generations, researching & closing new sales opportunities for our SINA international market services, such as online advertising, direct email, market research, online survey, Chinese micro-site development, and editorial publishing etc.

This fast-paced, multi-faceted position requires a results-driven person with excellent communication and customer service skills. Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience in selling media and such services. Familiar with the Internet market is required.

Sina News Internship

Be a part of the largest Chinese media and Internet Service Company, SINA (NASDAQ: SINA) U.S. office at San Mateo, California is currently seeking talented people to join our energetic team. We currently offer internships to qualified students interested in pursuing a career in internet journalism. Interns will be placed on Sina US news projects in content team, where they will be exposed to many aspects of internet news. Interns will gain knowledge in the editing of news content and the implementation of other content projects.

To be eligible, applicants must have attained at least a junior year standing in an undergraduate program. The internships are nonpaying in nature. The ideal candidate must have basic skills of internet usage. Good written Mandarin Chinese and baisc English ability are required.
